Why Commission a painting?
A painting or hand drawn artwork is so much more than a digitally printed photograph. Each stroke signifies the human touch that brings in emotion, sensitivity and deep honouring of the beloved pet. Each person who has received a painted portrait can testify that their fur baby almost jumps out of the canvas. As a pet parent myself I endeavour to bring the soul of your fur baby to life with respect and years of experience in achieving likeness and expression.
I work efficiently and in a timely manner to get your portrait completed within a reasonable timeframe. I use high quality materials and will work with you to achieve what you can afford and with finding the best most accurate source picture. In some cases, where possible I’ll meet your pet/person to get an even stronger impression.
